Red Roof Inn Franklin, KY

For a moderately priced hotel this place surpassed my expectations. The room was cleaner than some high end places I've stayed. The room comes with a mini fridge but not the tiny cube, the larger one. We had to come here after the ice storm 2026 took out our utility pole and we knew we'd be without power for a long time. It was nice to be able to keep a reasonable amount of food in the room so we didn't have to order takeaway for every meal. We were able to bring both of our dogs for a reasonable price, as well. I appreciate the fact that there were always bags in the dog waste station because I once forgot ours in the room. There are large trash bins at the ends of the hallway so you don't have to keep food trash in your room. The beds were comfortable and the cleanliness of the shower was impressive. My only complaints would be that the free coffee was always out when we went to get some, the bathroom could use more places to hang towels aside from the single hook on the door, and the toilet should have a lid since the only place to store toiletries is an open shelf above it and I nearly dropped my hairbrush in. Other than that, we had a great stay.

I don’t understand why there’s so much hate for this place. I stayed at this Red Roof Inn recently for a night to get off the road. The place was a little worn and well-used sure, but that’s exactly what I expected. I wasn’t paying Four Seasons prices, just looking for a simple, affordable place to sleep for the night. For the price, it delivered exactly what I needed and then some, so I’d easily give it 5/5 stars. The room was clean and comfortable. The sheets and towels were fresh, the bed was decent, and the TV had a good selection of channels. Small touches like a mini fridge/microwave and decent AC unit made the stay just fine. One standout: they were very pet-friendly. No hassle, no extra drama, just being able to bring my pet along without stress is worth its weight in gold when you’re traveling. I didn’t have my dog with me this last, but last time I stayed here I did and it was the easy to do. If you’re looking for a cheap, no-frills place that gets the job done, Red Roof Inn hits the mark.

The owners there are amazing and very respectful and they do breakfast every morning starting at 6 every morning and ends at 9 in the morning

Nice for a overnight stay. Nothing fancy, clean room, friendly service, waffles and cereal for breakfast. Premium satellite channels. Lots of fast food within 5 miles.

This is a very nice motel, quiet, comfortable beds, excellent TV selections, floors were a little sticky, but we carry our own Swiffer, cause we travel a lot. The only thing I would suggest is they need ramps on the ends of the building, because the curbs are VERY high

I had to split a 1000 miles driving from Chicago to Tallahassee. I was lucky to stop at the right time, at the right place. The young ladies at the front desk were very polite. One of them was training the other. They have managed to do the check-in in a very professional matter. The room was a blessing: very clean. The bathroom was probably newly remodeled. It had a tub, which was a very pleasant suprise considering I spent one week in minus average 10 coming from Chicago. When I am driving, I will try to organize my trips around Red Roof, hoping that other franchisees are at this excellent level.

Super clean, awesome value. Have paid way more for a room this nice. Service is wonderful, right by the interstate but far enough to not hear it. Pilot across the street? Perfect.

This is the only hotel that care about pets I am traveling with our 4 dogs I couldn't get a room because they only allowed 1 dogs but RED Roof showed some kindness and understanding thank you
